At BTS, the welfare of our members is our highest priority. We want everyone to have a safe and happy experience at our club. Our coaches are all enhanced DBS checked and our Welfare Officer is trained, registered with British Taekwondo, and actively involved day to day. We review and update our policies and processes regularly.

Our Safeguarding Policy Statement and Code of Conduct are based on best-practice advice from British Taekwondo, the NSPCC and Sports England. They set out our club commitments, as well as our expectations, including respect for everyone in our community, and our promise that any suspicions and allegations of abuse and poor practice will be taken seriously. We also make sure everyone in our club knows what to do and where to go if they have concerns.
